Superbowl XIII 1979

In his last Superbowl game as an announcer, Curt Gowdy called "Superbowl XIII" the best ever.
It was a heavyweight contest between Pittsburgh and Dallas. Pittsburgh barely prevailed 35-31
as Quarterback Roger Staubach refused to lose.

After the game, network television presented "Black Sunday," starring Robert Shaw and Bruce Dern. Based on the novel by Thomas Harris, This terrorist thriller featured footage from Superbowl X, starring the Cowboys and the Steelers.
