Superbowl XVII 1983

The first strike season Superbowl featured a rematch of Superbowl VII,
the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Redskins.
As a Dolphins fan, one wishes that we could have had Dan Marino one season sooner.
Quarterback David Woodley could not complete a pass in the second half and John Riggins did a great impression of Larry Csonka from 10 years ago. Final score 27-17 and the bad guys won.
At least the Raiders got a measure of revenge for me in 1984.

At the time, David Woodley was the youngest player to Quarterback a Superbowl.
Sadly he died alone a few years ago in his apartment.
