Superbowl XLII = the Miami Dolphins are still perfect - CinemaDave

Feb. 3rd, 2008 10:13 pm Superbowl XLII = the Miami Dolphins are still perfect

I do like the New England Patriots, ever since they upset the Saint Louis Rams six years ago in the 2002 Superbowl. However, I've been a Miami Dolphins fan for most of my life and I am glad that they remain the only perfect team in the history of the NFL.

Interesting note, when the Miami Dolphins pursued their excellence in 1972, the team that was determined to beat the Earl Morall lead team, was the New York Giants. I guess the Giants were destined to beat an undefeated team some day.

Thank You New York. I was born and raised in Miami as a Dolphins fan. I was 6 when they were perfect. What a time. What a team. No better role models in public life.

Thanks for the comment!

I've met Larry Csonka during Superbowl XXIII in Miami, he was everything I would expect and more. He and Ben Davidson were working for a Beer Company (Miller Lite?) and they had three beers during the morning show.

Our morning show guy was a bit temperamental. The Zonk became the hero of the underpaid and overworked staff when he looked at the morning show host and said;

"Your forehead says ABUSE me."

Great guy....:)
