Lent Day 32 "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman" a slice of 1950s

Along with "The Giant Leeches" and a spread in "Playboy," "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman" was Yvette Vicker's hat trick. She created four decades of appearences at autograph shows by playing "the Tart" in these kind of flicks. She was found dead in her home two years ago (2011), people think she may have been dead from six months to a year. She alienated herself from people who cared about her.

The film is fun to watch, part 1950s Science Fiction/ part 1950s Film Noir. During Hollywood's "Year of the Woman" in the early 1990s, Fred Olden Ray created a Made-for-Television movie for the Fox Channel. The cast includes Francis Fisher, William Windom, a Baldwin brother, Michelle Bauer in a cameo and Daryl Hannah as the 50 Foot Woman.
