Rondo Hatton Watch The Veil - 1



Two years before hosting "Thriller," Boris Karloff unveiled "The Veil," a 10 episode series produced by Hal Roach. The series was not broadcast and laid in a vault for many years until cinema historian Tom Weaver wrote about it.

While it was considered "the best series that never aired," the oppening episode, "Vision of Crime" leaves a lot to be desired. Karloff portrays a supporting role as a police constable with ablomb, young
Patrick Macnee is seen as his junior partner with a long fuse. Sadly this dull 26 minute "Vision of Crime" seems like a four hour soap opera.
