Lent Day 35 On a lighter note....."Bill Cunningham New York"

"Bill Cunningham New York" is a cheerful documentary about a New York fashion photographer. Bill Cunningham contributes to the Sunday edition of the **New York Times.** His job is to photograph strangers on the street and note the clothes that they are wearing. From his randomly taken photographs, Cunningham and his assistants review patterns, trends and fads of what fashion design. While fashion moghuls like Anna Wintour, Annette De La Renta and Mrs. Vincent Astor are interviewed, Cunningham is more of an anthropolgist who is noting the passing of time.

As an individual, Cunningham lives in a small apartment flat with large file cabinents and a small cot. His lease for his apartment will soon expire and Cunningham's only concern is the security of his file cabinents. Aside from that, Cunningham lives a superficial Bohemian life.
