"Radiant Maiden"
A one act play based on the Life of Edgar Allan Poe
Written and Performed by Arthur S. Berger
Edgar Allan Poe, born in Boston in 1809, served as editor of several publications and wrote poems and short stories until his death in 1849. He was a master poet and author and one of the most important writers of his time. His poem” The Raven” made him famous. This play combines authentic biographical material with artistic license to take audiences back to the nineteenth century in a dramatic recreation of the times and of Poe’s life.
