The Worst President in my lifetime... - CinemaDave

Oct. 11th, 2006 08:27 pm The Worst President in my lifetime...

One thing that gripes me about modern discussion is the lack of understanding about history. When I was 16, I was forced to sign up for selective service and there were concerns about bringing back the draft.
As of late, the President of these failed times, Jimmy Carter, is somehow considered a respected statesman. During his four years in the White House, Jimmy Carter presided over the worst economic downturn since World War II and created the "Misery Index." Iran took American hostages for 444 days and the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan.

As tough as these days are, they are not nearly as bad as the mess created by the Carter Administration.

Thank God that I am not alone in this opinion, please visit Jack Kinsella's article and learn how Jimmy James Earl Carter is seeking the title as The Worst Ex-President in History - http://www.vcrisis.com/index.php?content=letters/200408310659
