Adrienne Barbeau turned 61 on June 11 and she has written an interesting book, "There are Worse Things I Could Do." Interesting because she is candid enough in the opening chapter. She admits to writing journals at a young age, but the things she wrote in her journals had nothing to do with what her fans wanted to read about; "The Fog," "Escape from New York," "Back to School" and "The Cannonball Run."
She corrects this over site in her autobiography. Barbeau did admit her belief that Wes Craven's "Swamp Thing" made her feel that she was uglier than the monster, so she was surprised that it became a romantic cult classes. She devotes a chapter to nudity on stage and how clinical an actor gets on the subject.
In March of 1997, Adrienne gave birth to identical twin boys making her "the only woman on the maternity ward who was a member of AARP". She also has a 20 year old son from her first marriage with John Carpenter. This is his website http://www.myspace.com/codycarpenter
Her brother-in-law is Miami Steve VanZandt and she has nice things to say about Bea Arthur from "Maude." Fun read, nice lady. Here's her website; http://www.abarbeau.com
