NEW YORK, June 7, 2006 – Picturehouse, in partnership with New Line Cinema, is offering a chance of a lifetime to cinema and radio fans alike by auctioning off key items from Robert Altman’s A Prairie Home Companion, which opens in theaters every where on June 9th and stars Woody Harrelson, Tommy Lee Jones, Garrison Keillor, Kevin Kline, Lindsay Lohan, Virginia Madsen, John C. Reilly, Maya Rudolph, Meryl Streep, and Lily Tomlin.

Bidding on the first batch of items will begin on Wednesday, June 7th at 3:00 PM and conclude on Wednesday, June 21st. A second set of props and wardrobe from the film will also be up for auction beginning June 21st and ending on July 5th. To view these items and place bids, go to: www.aprairiehomecompanionmovie.com. A portion of all auctions from A Prairie Home Companion will go to charity.

Launched in April 2005, Picturehouse is the joint venture of two leaders of the entertainment community - HBO and New Line Cinema. Upcoming films include Robert Altman’s A Prairie Home Companion based on Garrison Keillor's legendary radio variety show and starring Keillor (as himself), with Academy Award-winners Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Tommy Lee Jones, Academy Award-nominees Lily Tomlin, John C.
