I was raised Catholic and was never very fond of fish during Lent but it did make me feel I was making a token effort to be slightly religious.
For some reason as Easter approaches I always think of the TV broadcast of "The Ten Commandments" starring Charleton Heston, along with just about everyone else you can imagine. With all the commercials it seems to run as long as the 40 years of wandering in the desert. You can watch some of the beginning, take a break to wash the car, walk the dog, go out for a meal, stop for a drink or two in a bar and when you return home it's still there, LOL.
