Superbowl Steelers - CinemaDave

Feb. 10th, 2006 08:56 pm Superbowl Steelers

Glad for the Steelers fans, but indoor dome stadium Superbowls are usually dull and disappointing.
I wrote my last 20 entries during Superbowl XL.

Superbowl Stones

The Superbowl XL game was not bad. Seattle was within striking distance of victory for most of the contest but Pittsburgh was just too dominant.

I'll probably remember Superbowl XL mostly for the halftime Rolling Stones performance.

62 year old Mick Jagger flew around the large stage so fast that at times the camera could barely keep up with him. I've read that a word or two of the saltier lyrics were deleted, and at first it sounded like there were some brief low volume problems, but the Stones proved they still have it.

Mick Jagger's abs were better than
Janet Jackson's abs!

The games as of late have not seemed dramatic enought, even thought the last few games have been tight contests,
but they lack the drama and intensity.
