Superbowl VI 1972 - CinemaDave

Feb. 7th, 2006 08:31 pm Superbowl VI 1972

The Dallas Cowboys upended the Miami Dolphins.
It was a cold day in Long Island when my parents and I watched this game.
I remember Don Shula being interviewed in the locker room and he was not a happy man.

Larry Csonka and Jim Kiick took a long car ride home and convinced themselves of winning the next Superbowl.
Like the fall of Troy, a new myth of the phoenix was reborn.
