Students at Coral Springs Middle, who just finished studying Charles Dickens, are slated to be the first to see the spectacular 3D movie, Disney’s A Christmas Carol: An IMAX 3D Experience® at the Museum of Discovery and Science AutoNation® IMAX® Theater.

Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of an old miser who must face the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future has once again come to life, this time in IMAX 3D®. The newest version of A Christmas Carol features the versatile Jim Carrey in four roles: Scrooge and the three ghosts that come to visit on Christmas Eve. Carrey’s co-stars include Bob Hoskins, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth and Robin Penn Wright. The 3D film was produced through the process of performance capture, a technique the director, Robert Zemeckis, used in his groundbreaking and popular film The Polar Express.
