Adventurers Club Last Night - CinemaDave

Sep. 27th, 2008 09:19 pm Adventurers Club Last Night

Once upon a time there was a tavern
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours
And dreamed of all the great things we would do

Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I´d see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say

Just tonight I stood before the tavern
Nothing seemed the way it used to be
In the glass I saw a strange reflection
Was that lonely woman really me

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days

This tribute to the Adventurers Club concludes with picture, relics and fond memories. It is a pleasure to know that I was not alone and here are some websites that share my point of view about being a member of the Adventurers Club;

and last, but not least, the final thoughts of a cast member who endured the full 19 years;

"I AM A CM OF THE ADVENTURERS CLUB,
AND WANT TO TAKE THIS MOMENT IN TIME AND HISTORY OF THE CLUB TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND LOVE.

IT IS RECIPROCATED ON MANY LEVELS,
YOU MADE OUR JOB AT TIMES EASIER AND HARDER BUT ALWAYS REWARDING.
IT WAS ALWAYS GOOD TO KNOW YOU GOT US,AND THERE WAS SOMEBODY WHO GOT
YOU.

DON'T BE SAD ITS ENDING, JUST BE GLAD IT HAPPENED.
AND I AM HAPPY TO HAVE MET AND KNOWN EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU THROUGHOUT THESE PAST 19 YEARS.

AND IF WE SHOULD MEET SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE, A HARDY,
KUNGALOOSH ,
WILL SPEAK VOLUMES AND BRING MEMORIES OF TIME WELL SPENT.

AGAIN AND FOREVER THANK YOU.

Those were the nights!
KUNGALOOSH!

Kungaloosh
Created By: Ashlee Mohr

Kungaloosh means nothing
But everything at the same time
Its memories created and shared
Its actors doing what they do best
It's becoming honorary members

Kungaloosh means new friends made
And old friends reunited
It means a common ground found
A home away from home
It's a world that must be visited at least twice on vacations

Kungaloosh is a word forever embedded in the hearts of adventures
It's a greeting that knows no bounds
It's a symbol for fun times shared
And sad times remembered

Kungaloosh is an all purpose salutation
And a wonderful adult beverage.
Kungaloosh is all the cast members that have grown to be an extended…
Dysfunctional family

Kungaloosh is a junior adventurer
A jungle explores
A dashing aviator
A maid
A butler
A club curator
A club president
A head glee meister and security chief
A bodiless genie

A stone goddess
A Paranormal piano prodigy
Cooky bartenders and door hosts
Devoted fans
New members

Kungaloosh is 19 spectacular years
A word that will remain the same
And never forgot
Kungaloosh will be missed
Kungaloosh is a word that binds us all together as fans of the
Adventurers Club…
…always…
