The Miami Dolphins exhibit Championship behavior onfield and off - CinemaDave

Dec. 17th, 2007 04:29 pm The Miami Dolphins exhibit Championship behavior onfield and off

In partnership with the Broward County Library, the Broward County Library Foundation has continued to raise money and distribute Books ‘n Bears since 1991. In 2006, the library provided over 800 children with Books ‘n Bears at an approximate cost of $10.000. After a program of storytelling, entrainment, juice and gingerbread cookies, each child receives a gift of a brand new book and a teddy bear.

For the past two years, the Miami Dolphins organization has sent football players, T D the Miami Dolphins mascot and the Cheerleaders to help distribute the books and the bears.

After the Miami Dolphin’s emotional victory over the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday, Cheerleaders Ariann Denison, Christine Fanta and TD the Dolphins Mascot shared the spirit of victory and perseverance to some of South Florida’s neediest children. For more information about Books'n Bears, please contact the Broward Public Library Foundation at 954-357-7382.
