Hey, can somebody loan me their Dog for a night? A Singles Mingle for Dog Lovers - CinemaDave

Sep. 28th, 2006 10:28 am Hey, can somebody loan me their Dog for a night? A Singles Mingle for Dog Lovers

Forget Daddy’s permission. It’s the approval of your dog that counts when you are shopping around for a new beau. (After all, who loves you baby and most importantly-- who has to share a bed with this new person?) Singles and their four-legged pals are invited to attend MUST LOVE DOGS outdoors at Grumpy Dick’s Seafood Grill & Bar on Sunday October 15 from 2pm to 4pm to mingle and hopefully hook up with another dog-lover. The first of its kind event will benefit Get A Life Pet Rescue, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to end pet suffering. The group, headed by Stacy Narcisse, raises funds in order to rescue, fully vet, rehabilitate and place neglected dogs in loving homes forever. (Visit the website at http://www.getalifepetrescue.com)

There will be a silent auction and a raffle where guests can win a three night cruise to the Bahamas and a stay in a private home in Scotland. In addition, world renowned dog communicator Joan Ranquet (http://www.joanranquet.com) who talks to Cher’s dog (Yes, that Cher!) will be there. And, Central Bark, one of the sponsors of the event will provide doggie services such as doggie merchandise, grooming tips, training info, free samples and more.

The fee to attend the two hour party that will be held on the Grumpy Dick’s patio area will be $20 and include finger foods and a select bottle of beer or glass of wine.
